昼夜节律是生理时钟的一部分,以24小时为周期。中医认为,气和血每隔两小时就会系统地流向不同的器官。


晚上11点到凌晨3点这段时间属于肝和胆。晚上11点前睡觉是很重要的,可以让气血回流到肝胆。一旦气血回到相应的脏腑,器官本身有气血滋养,发挥其生理功能。


肝和胆负责:

  • 正常月经
  • 情绪
  • 决策
  • 肌腱活动
  • 正常视力

晚上11点前睡觉可以让你在早上醒来更有精神。你的睡眠时间对你的睡眠质量非常重要!


Circadian rhythms are 24 hours cycles that are part of the body’s internal clock. In Chinese medicine, Qi and blood move systematically to a different organ every two hours. 

The hours between 11pm-3am belong to the liver and gallbladder. It is important to sleep before 11pm to allow Qi and blood to flow back to liver and gallbladder.

Once the Qi and blood reach the corresponding, it nourishes the organ itself and supports their physiology function. 

Liver and gallbladder are responsible for:

  • Regular menstruation 
  • Emotion
  • Decision making
  • Nourish tendons
  • Clear vision 

Sleep before 11pm in order to feel more refreshed in the morning. The hour that you sleep does matter to your sleep quality.
