为什么我Covid negative 后还持续咳嗽呢？


咳嗽是清除体内病毒、异物或粘液的自然反应。有部分人群即使PCR或Self test kit 的检验结果呈covid阴性，在感染期后也会持续出现干咳。


Covid病原体会先攻击你的肺部。即使你的检测结果呈阴性，体内较弱的病原体也没有完全清除，在中医称之为余邪。


患者T: 我是一名销售员，和顾客交谈是我的工作日常。中了covid之后，我甚至不能和顾客对话超过10分钟，这已经严重影响我的工作!

Why am I still coughing after covid?

Cough is a natural reflex  to remove virus, dust and mucus in our body. Majority of the covid patients experience dry coughing after covid infection period even though PCR or test-kit indicate negative results.

Covid pathogens will first attack your lungs. Even if you are tested negative, the weakened pathogen doesn’t fully clear out from your body, in chinese medicine it called residue pathogen (余邪）.

Patient T : I am a salesperson, my job requires me to talk to my customers. After covid, I couldn't even talk continuously for 10 minutes, the coughing is bothering me!  It is awkward if I keep coughing in front of my customer.
